If you do not wish to enroll in the University of Rochester Postdoctoral Scholar Benefit Program (PSBP) you may waive (decline) this coverage during the first 30 days of your appointment. You will be required to furnish a valid insurance policy that meets the University of Rochester’s requirements. Additionally, please complete the appropriate sections of the Enrollment Form in order to waive the coverage. If you waive coverage for yourself and/ or your eligible dependents, you will not be eligible for coverage until the following Plan year, unless you experience a qualifying event, such as: marriage, birth or adoption of a child or loss of coverage.
