You may enroll in either the Voluntary Vision Plan offered through Assurant for the Vanderbilt Graduate Academic Benefit Plan, or access Aetna's Voluntary Vision Discount Plan.

Assurant Voluntary Vision Plan

This is a true vision plan, offering a $25 copay for an annual exam and a $25 copay for lenses. There is a $130 allowance for frames, with an additional 20% discount on any amount you pay above that allowance for your desired frame. The frequency of the program is an exam and lenses every 12 months and frames every 24 months. Contact lenses are available for purchase every 12 months for a $130 allowance, in lieu of glasses. Aetna Discount Vision Plan

Your annual routine eye exam is covered at 100% with the Aetna Medical PPO Plan. With the Discount Vision Plan, you can save on eyeglasses, contacts and LASIK, as well as other products and services.
