How to Find a Medical Provider

After downloading your ID Card from imglobal.com, look at the top left corner to see
which plan you are under (see images below), then watch the corresponding video.

Note that Gallagher is your Broker (we’re here to help support you during enrollment and act as an advocate on your behalf), IMG is the Insurance Company (they maintain the network and process the claims), and United Healthcare is your Network (the network of doctors and hospitals in a contract to provide you services).

When you call the doctor for an appointment or when you go to the appointment/urgent care/emergency room, please have your Medical ID card on hand; the doctor will need that information in order to charge the claim to United Healthcare.

As a good practice, when you arrive in the United States, we suggest you find the closest urgent care in the network near your home/work/school, then write them down or program them into your Maps app in case you ever need them.

We suggest using a minute clinic or urgent care for non-life-threatening issues. They are typically less expensive, open long hours (although not 24/7), and you can usually be seen very quickly. If you are having serious health problems such as chest pain, stroke, severe allergic reaction, severe burns, severe trauma, car accident, etc.; go immediately to an emergency room.

See the video below for step-by-step instructions on how to find a provider in the United Health Care network
